The on going thoughts & musings (sometimes random, sometimes not) of Lumen Capital Management,LLC.
For the year the American markets are basically treading water.
-The Standard & Poors 500 excluding dividends is up 1.4% for the year
-The Dow Jones Industrial Average has lost 1.99% in 2005.
-The Nasdaq Composite has declined 1.1% this year.
The real winners have been small and midcap stocks and energy related companies.
