Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day!

One of the highlights of the year in our town of River Forest is the Memorial Day parade which runs right down our street passing in front of Global HQ.  To honor this day we fly two American flags between now and the 4th of July.

The flag you see off to the side of Global HQ was carried by my brother-in-law who flew Harrier jets for the Marines in Afghanistan. We honor his service as well as the services of all prior family members and all others who are serving or who have served in our armed forces.   

This year we want to honor these folks, both past and present on both sides of our families, for their service to the United States of America.  I have tried to include both immediate and extended family members, but will apologize in advance for any inaccuracies or exclusions.  Please note that any mistakes were inadvertent:
