Chicago Cubs {Wait Till Next Year}

Rest easy baseball fans.  The Cubs future looks brighter than any time in recent memory.  Winter is coming around here but sure as the crocuses butt their heads out of the late February snow, spring will arrive in these parts and they'll play baseball again.  First in Arizona, then here in Chicago.  Of course they way spring goes around these parts it will be about June 15th before we see any warm weather but that's another story.    Its often said in sports that teams first have to learn how to lose before they become champions.  That's been true enough of the Bulls and the Blackhawks.  We'll see if the Cubs, who were schooled by the Mets in the NLCS, learned the lesson.

Opening day next year is April 5th.  The Cubs home opener is against the Reds on April 11th.  See you next season boys!
