Charlie Bielo's twitter page shows the dramatic rise in interest rates this year. In retrospect rages really began their move higher about a year ago but the biggest part of that increase began around the beginning of 2018. Rates on the short end of the curve have moved a bit over 50 basis points {.50%} during that time. That's a big move in such a short period. Again, according to Charlie, short-term rates are at their highest levels since 2008.
