an tSionna 5.06.09 Nasdaq

The Nasdaq closed above its 200-day moving average last week. The last time the Nasdaq was in this territory was August 15, 2008. That's 178 days below its 200 day. According to Bespoke Investments this is only the 7th time in the index's history that it went 150 or more trading days without closing above its 200-day average.~ I think the Nasdaq like a lot of indices could spend some time now churning around. But this is a longer term positive development as is the fact that its 50-day average is now trending in a most decidedly positive manner.
