Statistics Not Helpful to Confidence

Two sets of statistics that caught my eye which aren't likely to help consumer confidence or the economy any time soon.

UPSIDE DOWN - 30% of US homeowners surveyed within the last month that have mortgage debt on their residence believe their outstanding debt exceeds the current fair market value of their home (source: Pew Research).

WORRIED ABOUT LOSING A JOB: CNBC was out with the number that 52% of all employed are worried about losing a job in the next year.
