Quick Thoughts: Merck & Schering-Plough Merger.

Merck & Schering-Plough are merging. I don't own either and the early Wall Street reaction is mixed. However, this is the sort of thing we are going to see increasingly more of. Assets (that is the real stuff out in the real world and not stock prices) are simply becoming too cheap. Companies will either fix themselves or they will go away. And if they are going away it will either be through bankruptcy or because they will be bought.
